This is a 596cc water cooled two stroke twin motorcycle, regarded as a high quality , albeit expensive and complex British Classic  that resumed production after WW 11.

It was known for ” unconventional excellence” and offered a smooth ride and low center of gravity, though it faced challenges with high production costs.

This parallel twin with a three speed gearbox is the motorcycle that made two strokes respectable, ” as lively as a squirrel and never sheds a nut ” is how one collector described his.
