1978 SUZUKI GS425 E…$2,999. plus gst.
There’s a couple of industry “rags” that referred to the GS425E as a ” Nice Little Bike” that gets ridden to and from work, or the bank & school or to the store. Given the gas prices these days and everything else , this is a nice econimical way to get those chores done. The bike had sat for awhile but we’ve gone right through it and brought it up to snuff. The bike has a 6 speed transmission, is smooth on the highway , handling is competent, no surprises, braking power is plenty powerful for the size of the Suzuki. This bike is as fast or faster than the other 400 four strokes of their time, with more lower end torque so it feels faster and it’s easy to ride and convenient to use. The bike runs good will have brand new tires , has fresh gas and oil, new spark plugs carbs were removed and cleaned , tank drained cleaned and test ridden. Fuel tank has no dents or dings chrome exhaust is very good seat leather pristine. Closing comments on this bike said ” if there’s little to say about the GS425E, it’s because there’s little to criticize. The bike has 3,195 original kms. selling for $2,999. plus gst.
