The FX was first introduced in 1971 as the first factory-custom model , combining elements from the FLH electra glide and the XLH sportster , combining the front end of a sportster with the frame of a big twin.

The FX designation refers to” Factory Experimental ” and late 1974 Harley Davidson came out with the FXE which is a Super Glide with electric start and the basic FX kickstart was discontinued in 1979.

This bike has new tires, paint is excellent as is the chrome with original AMF tank badging.

The 1207 shovelhead engine has the characteristic high torque which allows for effortless acceleration.
