1964 MATCHING NUMBERS NORTON 750 ATLAS PROJECT…$4,999. plus gst.

The 1964 Norton Atlas 750 is a classic British vertical twin motorcycle built to satisfy American market demands for larger high torque engines, it first appeared in the U.S. in 1962.
This one came from Nicholson Brothers in Saskatoon and in fact was Bernie Nicholson’s own bike.
It has a 4 speed gearbox, right side footshift, a dry weight of 395 lbs.
The chassis is built around Nortons race-proven slimline ” Featherbed ” frame.
The suspension is telescopic ” Roadholder” front forks and Girling rear shock absorbers.
The bike will come with an “out of province inspection” once your restoration is complete.
The rest of the engine is there , barrels, head , carbs , exhaust pipes and mufflers all shrink wrapped in a tub, along with cables.
This is a rare bike that has stood the test of time , the tank is clean inside, with no dents or damage outside, fenders are straight and pretty much rust free, rims have some spots, original leather seat is solid , leather has the expected patina of a 1964 motorcycle but no rips just a small tear at the front right up against the tank, left side.
This bike, whether you want to do a full teardown restoration or just reassemble and ride it to show off its classic patina is an exceptional example of an iconic British motorcycle.

Selling for $4,999. plus gst.
